The task in hand was to design a seating system using Bok Moderen’s laser cut technology, while keeping in mind the aesthetics and needs of a four-star hotel. Luxury and modularity played an essential role in the design of this lounge seating. It is split in half and can be used as a two-seater bench, a couch, or can be separated for individual seating. Anodized aluminum sheets with laser cut slits have simple bends to create a beautiful shape that is easily manufactured. The obtained goal was to create balance between modern-day tastes and the needs of the hotel lifestyle.
